Through this unique program, students will gain an appreciation for the interrelatedness of all forms of art, as well as how art can be used as a tool for expression and exploration. Students will explore techniques of composition and collaboration while gaining an understanding of artistic applications. Artistic projects will also be created and exhibited throughout the summer, inspiring creative thinking and enabling creative expression.
Playing eARTh Science
Students in this program will work hands-on with the eARTh, tending both the plants and soil while learning how to cultivate a sustainable space. They will study soil health, botany, and plant anatomy in a spirit of stewardship and service. Through collecting and categorizing plants, students will apply their creative ingenuity to the creation of mud castles, seed mandalas, and more! Over the course of the program, students’ knowledge and understanding of their personal connection to the environment will deepen, providing them with important insight into the cycle of life. This course will include field trips to beautiful, local botanical gardens.
