- A.M. Extended Care
- This program is available for parents that need to drop off earlier. We will meet at Sheridan Community Park for some morning movement. There is a $15 additional fee for morning care.
- Morning Activity AB, Afternoon Activity
- Our activities of the day coincide with our weekly camp theme. All themes will foster creativity, community-building, innovation, and most importantly - PLAY! Some activities will be held at the local parks or include field trips.
- Snack & Play
- We believe it is important to teach student about nutrition and how to care for their bodies by what they eat. Snacks will be provided by the Academy. Students will learn how to imagine and create a healthy snack and be in service to their summer community. It’s also critical for student to have free-play time to develop creative faculties through movement.
- Lunch & Play
- We will be walking to our local park to have an outdoor picnic-style lunch and free play. Please ensure your student has healthy food and water for the day. We are focused on overall health throughout our programs and ask that you refrain from packing sugary snacks and drinks.
- Kōkua& Dismissal
- Student will work to tidy their spaces and ensure their classrooms are ready for the next day. Pick-up will happen at our Learning Center. You are welcome to park at the bottom of the stairs. Our assistant will run your student down to meet you at the car.
- After School Enrichment
- We are excited to begin our offering of Enrichment classes for those that have been looking for tutoring services that live “outside of the box”. Our Program consists of multisensory approaches to learning that include food, play, art, and games. The Academy will provide a snack for the student followed by a deep dive into a Project of Innovation (P.O.I.) that will focus on engaging their creativity and thinking skills. Our final hour will be focused on continuing work, games, and any traditional tutoring should students need help with `traditional school work.
The fee for After School Enrichment is same as regular school days but if you register for the morning session (9:00-3:00), then will receive a discount.
